LEGATUS INTERNATIONAL
Our capabilities
Market development, principal representation and commercial partnerships, supported by direct engagement with UAE buyers.
Market development
Assess the commercial fit before committing resources. A focused assignment examines the intended customers, the applications that matter to them and the route through which they evaluate and buy.
- Identify target accounts and the commercial and technical decision makers.
- Clarify buyer requirements, competing alternatives and qualification needs.
- Develop account priorities, an engagement plan and a relevant value proposition.
- Feed buyer responses back to the principal to refine the market approach.
Principal representation
Establish a consistent commercial point of contact in the UAE for an agreed offering, territory or group of customers. The mandate defines how LEGATUS may present the principal and the decisions that remain with the principal.
- Coordinate buyer meetings, product presentations and commercial correspondence.
- Bring the principal’s technical specialists into discussions when needed.
- Progress quotations, clarifications and negotiations within agreed authority.
- Maintain continuity between initial interest, evaluation and subsequent commercial decisions.
Commercial partnerships
Some opportunities require a combination of product expertise and local delivery capability. We help define that requirement and develop discussions with suitable distributors, integrators or service providers.
- Identify the functions a local partner must perform.
- Consider commercial fit, relevant permissions and the ability to fulfil the proposed role.
- Clarify account ownership, customer contact, pricing and service responsibilities.
- Coordinate the relationship around a specific opportunity or a wider agreed market objective.
Buyer requirements, proposals & projects
Direct engagement and formal procurement are connected parts of commercial development. A credible proposal begins with understanding the application, purchasing process, timetable and evidence required.
We coordinate commercial inputs, presentations and clarification responses with the responsible parties. Technical specifications, certifications, pricing, delivery dates, payment terms and warranties remain subject to the relevant party’s review and approval.
SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITY
The right structure for the assignment.
Representation, brokerage and distribution carry different responsibilities. The agreement identifies the contracting and invoicing parties, any import role, local service requirements and responsibility for after-sales support. Exclusivity, regulated activities and formal commercial agency arrangements require specific consideration and documentation.
